`Humour The Computer' (HTC) is an anthology of the comic, amusing and laughable aspects of computing. I have selected about 150 articles from many sources: academic journals, computing magazines, the Internet, and from a call for submissions made last year. Most of the pieces are 1-2 pages long, and cover an enormous range of topics: from IBM mouse balls to Joe Lisp. There are even a few cartoons.
There is a related reading section at the end of HTC, which contains information on other sources of computer laughs.
This project is a labour of love, and I will be donating any royalties that I receive to Alzheimer's Disease International, which describes itself as "the umbrella organisation for Alzheimer associations around the world, which offer support and information to people with dementia and their caregivers".
